This may be a little old, but Nanosolar announced a solar panel printer that reduces costs of solar panels to incredibly low levels. Wheras cost per watt of solar panelling normally would cost about $5 to $10 per Watt, these new panels deliver for about $0.30 per Watt. Of course, that requires the setup of the printer as well as a supply of the special nano solar ink. But still, that cost is impressive and may be a great breakthrough for the viability of solar power as an effective power source.
