Satin Spar Selenite with LED Stand
by adminWe just got these in at Spectrum: A Satin Spar of Selenite with a battery powered, multi-colored LED stand!
The cool thing about this little item, which is a great gift, is how the Selenite spar glows from the colorful LED lights.
This works because Selenite is actually one of the forms of gypsum. Satin spar is the most fiberous of the gypsum form and as a result is translucent. This means the light can travel through the Satin Spar, but will be dispersed as it does so. This brings the light up to the edges of the Spar and makes it glow with the light from the LEDs!
Each Satin Spar is unique in shape and size, but runs from 5-6″ tall and 1-1/2″-2″ wide. The base is 2-1/2″ wide and mirrored. It requires 3 ‘AAA’ batteries.
