Just In Case You’ve Not Heard…
by adminToday is the day that the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Europe is activated. Its construction will lead to observation of theorized particles and much more. Even Google is celebrating!
You might have been exposed to some of the more nutty elements out there telling you that the collider’s activation will result in the end of the world or other cosmic disasters. To put it simply, these people are wrong. Sadly, some are more deluded than others and have even gone so far as to issue death threats to the the people in charge of the LHC. Let’s not encourage this behavior by giving people with such poor knowledge of particle physics any more attention than they deserve.
