Insta-snow is one of the more popular products sold at Spectrum Scientifics. It comes in a small tube or in an 8 oz Jar. Either one is fine, it just depends on the quantity of snow you want.

But folks often ask us what the snow looks like in action. The product pictures don’t do it much justice, so we obtained some photos of the product in action.

First, you add some of the Insta-Snow to a cup:

Then you add some water…that’s all it takes:

The snow ‘happens’ pretty quickly. Soon the snow will overflow the cup:

A little Insta-Snow goes a long way, so try not to overdo it.

Insta-Snow is fun for even younger kids (Age 4+). It is perfectly safe and non-toxic. Special Ed teachers have told us they use Insta-Snow as a tactile experience for their kids due to its unusual texture. But all around, its just good old fun!
