Green Comet is Coming

The Green Comet, also known as Comet Lulin, is coming to a night sky near you! The comet was nicknamed ‘Green Comet’ because of its appearance in astrophotos as having a greenish tint.
Lulin will be closest to Earth on February 24th. It will be closest to Saturn in the night sky but will only be about 5th or 6th magnitude, which means it will only be visible with the naked eye in dark skies. In the city, you will probably need a decent size telescope or at least astronomy binoculars to find Lulin. Expect to get up early, as these parts of the sky are visible just before dawn.
