by adminInsects are probably one of the more fascinating parts of everyday life. Kids, especially younger kids, often can’t get enough of them. Even folks with no interest in other fields of science can find insects to be gorgeous in appearance or in behavior.
At Spectrum, we have several products for the bug-lovers in our lives. Here are just a few:
Electronic Bug Observations Station
This is one of our most popular bug items. Put a bug in the listening chamber, and you can hear the noises they make amplified through the earbuds. It feels like you are in the chamber with the bug! A 3X magnifier on top of the chamber lets you see the bug in detail.
Butterflies of the World Poster
A gorgeous poster of butterflies (and some moths) of the world. Beautiful and fascintating! Over 100 specimens shown.
Put a bug in the Bug Projector chamber and project and image of its shadow up to 50x larger on the ceiling. Great fun to see details on the bug’s body!
