100 Hours of Astronomy, April 2-5.

In less than one month, one of the keystone events of the International Year of Astronomy will take place: 100 hours of astronomy. This takes place from April 2nd through the 5th, which is some of the best viewing times for astronomy. During this 100 hour period new and experienced amateur astronomers alike are encouraged to get some viewing in!

You can hold your own personal viewing session or find one of the many special viewing events to see some telescopes in action! We’ll be reporting on local events as we get closer to the actual dates.

So get out there on April 2nd -5th and get some telescope viewing!
